Since 1968, Wildwater Expeditions is the pioneer of whitewater rafting in West Virginia. Built by Jon Dragan and his brothers, Wildwater Expeditions is a small outfitter dedicated to helping you have big fun in Wild, Wonderful West Virginia. In conjunction with other quality local establishments, Wildwater closely works with you to craft your getaway to southern West Virginia. Adventures include New River rafting and Gauley River rafting, along with kayaking, climbing and adventure packages in the New River Gorge and Gauley River National Recreation Area. You will have access to New River Gorge trails directly from our property. You will also have more camping space at your disposal in a quieter setting.
We are also pleased to offer you lodging at New River Gorge Preserve. These amazing houses, located within 1 mile of the new Wildwater Outdoor Center are perfect for small to large groups who want a little bit of luxury to go with their Wildwater adventure!
